A Little Bit about My Hair...

My hair has been a struggle my whole life. Living with this curly bush on top of my head was hard. But recently its gotten easier. EMBRACE THE CURLS someone told me and I looked at them from a new light. I have embraced the curls. Theyre beautiful. I think so anyway :) While this isn't my natural hair, its what my hair likes to be up to :)

While this isn't my natural hair, it's still a good representation of how crazy curly hair can be. And ridiculous. I seriously got soo many stares and laughs when i wore this afro to the mall one weekend :) It was fun. But here's the natural hair i wear...It's not perfect. But i love it.

 Because i have embraced the curls. Curls are the best thing ever!! And you wanna know what my saving grace was?? HEADBAND CURLS. :) please youtube that. That works amazingly. Those curls in the pictures aren't my headband curls but it's pretty similar. I was really in love with my curls 5 months ago. They were awesome. In august tho....i got the worst haircut ever!! It's mostly grown out..oh and i cut my bangs myself..just 2 weeks ago :) 

 

Pretty dang proud of myself for cutting my own bangs. It was rather scary tho. :) But this haircut, oh never do anything detrimental to your future on Friday the 13th. Seriously...its bad. So basically my hair was butchered in the back. It was extrememly layered, in the wrong way. I dont even know how to explain it...it was tragic tho. But i got used to it..figured out how to do my hair again and I'm back to loving them crazy curls :) Sorry for the complaining, but someone needs to understand my hair troubles, right?? So on to better days.. I will be posting about awesome hair styles and makeup later..

The Start-up

My best friend Josie recently started her own blog, tellmeastoryandwecanpretend.blogspot.com, and that inspired me to FINally create my own. I've had this idea to do a blog, so I can share my ideas, crafts and random things. Generally, I thought of posting pictures of things and projects I've done, such as my sewing crafts, my hair, nails, outfits, makeup and what-not to do with that. I also wanted to post (or re-post) ideas on just about anything. So here, this is just a random collage of a blog with everything stuck on it :) In a year, there will a wonderful collection of awesome things.
